Christian Chad Thunderchild-Starr

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Christian, a beloved son, grandson, cousin, and friend. Christian was raised with love and care by his Mooshum/Grandpa and Kokum Eliza, who nurtured him from birth alongside cherished memories of his Mama, Napwin/Laverna, who preceded him in death almost three years ago. He leaves his Dad, Randy Jimmy, who spent lots of time with his son. Christian carried his Mama's memory close to his heart, deeply missing her presence every day. From a young age, Christian was taught the ways of the land by his Mooshum, learning the art of hunting and fishing that would become cherished pastimes throughout his life. He was a proud graduate of Thunderchild Piyewsew School, where his dedication to cultural activities shone brightly. Christian was always eager to participate, bringing his passion and enthusiasm to everything he did. Whether cruising around on his quad in pursuit of game, navigating the snowy landscapes on his skidoo during winter, or enjoying the thrill of his recent acquisition, a beautiful sports car, Christian embraced life with a zest for adventure and exploration. His love for the outdoors and his sense of freedom on these excursions brought him immense joy. Christian's warm heart and infectious sense of humor endeared him to all who knew him. He cherished the bond he shared with his cousins, finding solace and laughter in their company. His presence brought light to any gathering, and his laughter echoed in the hearts of those who were lucky enough to share in his joy. While Christian may no longer walk among us, his spirit will live on in the memories he created and the love he shared. May he find peace in the arms of his Mama, reunited in eternal love and happiness. Christian will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all whose lives he touched.

Christian leaves to mourn in his passing, his grandparents: Doug & Eliza Starr; cousin brothers, Douglas, Cordell, Swade, Kyle, Tyler, Darcy, Baby C; and cousin sisters, Chasisddy, Tani-Raye, Katie, Tenneil, Deanna, Sherry, Josie, Ivanna, Liz, Baby C; uncles & aunties: Betty Anne, Gill (Hazen), Verna, Loretta, (Ivan); his children, KaiJa, Maverick, and Kora Love; as well as his special companion Niyanna.
He was predeceased by his Mama Napwin/Laverna, Kenneth, Donna, Carol, Raymond, Darin; Nephews & Nieces, Verna-Jo, Dana, Lian and Derek; Cousins, Christopher and Nicole.
Cousin brother's Christian and Christopher left together for the spirit world on April 11, 2024.
