Dad was a very friendly man. It didn't matter where he went, he talked to anyone, laughing and joking with everyone, even with his doctors near the very end. His passion was watching hockey, especially the Calgary Flames. He was a very avid fan of all Onion Lake Hockey Teams until he could no longer drive himself to the games. Dad made many trips to Lloyd even if it was for a pound of lard or bird feed. He was a good provider for his family and also for his birds that he loved.
Dad never complained of his pain, not even at the very end. He believed in prayer his whole life and he took that strength with him until his passing.
