Life Story for Marie Ellen Klarenbach

Marie Ellen Klarenbach
Marie Ellen Klarenbach was born on February 12, 1956. She was the oldest child of Herb and Helen Klarenbach, big sister to her siblings Donna, Blair and Ian, and honorary Mom to her nieces and nephews Scott, Jordon, Brock, Ashley, Deiter, Kelsey, Catlan, Chris and Joe.

Marie had two careers that were important to her. She started in the grain trade when she was in Lloydminster, and this career took her to Vancouver, St. Albert, Red Deer, and Sexsmith. She moved back home in 1994 and in 1996 started her new career in payroll with the School Division. Marie retired in June of 2016.

Marie’s work was important to her, but not as important as her family. She was always the first one to reach out, and to offer help when needed. She always gave her time willingly, and nothing was ever too much trouble for her when it involved family or friends. Marie’s optimistic, kind personality made everyone love to be around her, and her infectious laugh always brightened the room.

Marie was predeceased by her father Herb Klarenbach, and her mother Helen Klarenbach.

She leaves to mourn her siblings: Blair (Marg), Donna, Ian (Laura); her “kids”, Scott (Vanessa), Jordon (Kristin), Brock (Jocelyn), Ashley (Riley), Deiter (Virginia), Kelsey (Reg), Catlan, Chris (Tracy), and Joe (Amanda);her great nieces and nephews; and numerous family and friends.
